Hello, my name is Denis. Born in Russia, I am currently residing in London, UK.
I started my way as an artist back in 2010 only as before I was trying to assert myself as a maritime navigator - my original profession. During the long voyages at sea I have been exploring different countries and cultures. One day I decided to capture some memories and started drawing. All the indelible impressions led onto discovering my other self. The first ever drawing I made at sea was in pencil and pen. Upon returning home I started experimenting with brush and paint on canvas.
I do not have any special education in arts; however, I am full of restless energy, determination and self-motivation and I always try to see beyond the moment and learn new things every day. My work is being highly influenced by surrealism – my true passion. But I keep on experimenting still willing to discover the new ways of self-expression in the pursuit of my aspirations.
